Minnie Mouse Hong Kong Disneyland Outfit

(Please excuse my hair - this was after several hours of wondering around in 30 degree heat!)

Hello lovelies! Today I'm sharing the outfit I wore in Hong Kong Disneyland earlier this month. As I said in my Rapunzel DisneyBound outfit post, I was planning on wearing my Rapunzel outfit to HKDL but when I spotted this Minnie-inspired backpack in a market stall the night before we went, I knew I had to improvise a Minnie outfit instead to match! Luckily I still had this beautiful red floral dress from Primark and a black jumper tucked away in my suitcase so I think they ended up matching pretty well!
And of course I had to wear a pair of mouse ears! Before I went I'd ordered these absolutely stunning rose gold ears from ImagineEarsUK on Etsy and I couldn't have been more pleased with them. They were really lightweight and comfortable and as we were at the top of Main Street making our way into the park, Mickey and Minnie happened to pass by us and Mickey pointed out my ears! A seal of approval from the boss himself haha! If you're a fan of everything rose gold like me, you definitely need to get your hands on a pair of these.

Disney Christmas Gift Ideas For £11 And Under (2016)

I know what some of you will be thinking... SEPTEMBER for a CHRISTMAS gift guide?! But to my defence, the Disney Store has had their Christmas decorations out for ages now, so really you could say that I'm quite late with this. Ahem.

Although it is a tad early I've already been seeing so many lovely Disney bits around that would make perfect low-budget Christmas gifts so I thought I'd share them with you today!

1. Monsters Inc Pyjama Set, Primark - £8
Primark always have the loveliest selection of Disney pyjamas but I especially love this set. Monsters Inc will always have a special place in my heart but unfortunately you don't tend to see too much merchandise with the characters on so this set makes a nice change!

2. Disney Movie Collection: Tangled, Waterstones - £9.99
This collection of Disney books is so stunning. I have two of them and the illustrations are incredibly beautiful and colourful. I've seen them range in price quite a bit, they're usually under a tenner but I've seen them as low as £2 so it might be worth shopping about a bit first if you're after one of these.

3. Disney Princess Cosmetic Bag, Tesco - £7.50 | 4. Disney Princess Pocket Mirror, Tesco - £2 | 5. Disney Super Smooth Hairbrush, Tesco - £6
I cannot get over this Disney Princess range from Tesco! The design is so pretty. I already have the hairbrush but I have a feeling I won't be able to resist the mirror and makeup bag much longer! Just a note if you're looking for these online - they're on the Tesco Grocery website rather than the Direct one for some reason... I spent hours looking for these on the Direct website *facepalm*

6. Disney Alice I Would Rather Be In Wonderland Ankle Socks, ASOS - £5
These have such a sweet design on them - although you can't really see from image above above they have Alice dreaming "I would rather be in Wonderland". And c'mon, if you don't recieve at least one pair of socks for Christmas, is it even Christmas?!

7. Disney Animators' Collection Journal, Disney Store - £10.99
When I did my Disney Christmas gift guide last year I did it for items that are £10 are less, but with this beautiful journal coming in 99p over budget I had to change this year's post slightly to include it! I actually treated myself to this recently and I can honestly say that it's even more lovely in real life. The included pencil even has "listen to your heart" printed on it which I think is so sweet!

8. Well-loved Tales Cinderella: A Ladybird Vintage Colouring Book, Amazon - £6.99*
Penguin Random House Children's UK kindly contacted me a few weeks ago to ask if I would be interested in receiving a sample copy of this and as soon as I saw the email I jumped at the chance! I grew up on the vintage Ladybird books so I think this is the sweetest idea to give the books a fresh lease of life by turning them into colouring books! This would make such a good gift for any Disney fan, I've had so much fun with mine!

9. Mickey Mouse Rose Gold Bauble, Disney Store - £8
I'm all about anything that's rose gold so when I spotted this beautiful bauble on the Disney Store's website it went straight on my Christmas wishlist!

September 2016 Hong Kong Disneyland Haul

...When you buy so much that you can't fit everything all into one image. Ooops.

Hello lovelies! Today I'm going to be sharing my haul from Hong Kong Disneyland and the HKDL shops at the airport. I'd set aside quite a large portion of my Hong Kong spending money just for visiting HKDL as this was my first trip to a Disney resort since I was very little and I knew there would be lots that I wanted to buy. However my boyfriend also kindly surprised me on the day with some Disney spending money as it's my birthday later this month so I went on quite a large spree! Here are the things I picked up:
First up are two of the items that I wanted most to find in HDKL! I'd seen these BB-8 cups all over Instagram and I'd been wanting one ever since so I was really excited to see that HKDL sold them too! I'd also seen before we arrived that they sold these downright adorable Gelatoni mugs so I made sure to track one down as well. Those pink ears though!
As soon as I spotted this oversized Minnie bow band on Main Street I knew I had to have it! Anything with bows on and I need it! And I'm obsessed with this Duffy and ShellieMay headband! We spotted a girl in Toy Story Land wearing the Winnie The Pooh version (which I'm actually giving away here!) and it looked so cute on her. I'm not the biggest Winnie fan so I chose the Duffy and ShellieMay version instead as I believe they're characters that are generally exclusive to Asia. I hope I get the excuse to wear it soon!
I knew that I wanted to pick up a HKDL pen and frame as they seemed like essentials for a Disney trip but I also found these lovely little Tsum Tsum plates on sale in one of the shops and I couldn't resist them!
As I've built up a small collection of pins now I wanted to get a lanyard and pin which both had HKDL on to remember my trip. This lanyard set came with two pins on which will be perfect for trading with so I'll definitely have to try pin trading when I next go to a Disney park! I also bought this sweet little Tsum Tsum keyring for my keys.
Even though I can't be at Disney this year for Halloween at least I can be there in spirit with this Halloween-themed Tsum Tsum top! I love the little Tsum designs and the cold-shoulder detailing. I'll be wearing this a lot in October!
And of course I had to buy some Tsum Tsums! Hong Kong had an amazing stock of Tsums, even of characters that have been long sold out in the UK! Luckily I managed to pick up a few Tsums that I'd missed out on previously like Chewbacca and Flash which was a bonus!
Lastly I also managed to get my hands on two limited edition Tsum Tsum sets! My lovely boyfriend bought me the Minnie and Friends Dressy set from the airport HKDL shop on our way into Hong Kong and then I bought the Duffy and ShellieMay Spring set on our departure with my leftover Hong Kong Dollars. I didn't think there was going to be any special Tsum sets available when we went so I was very excited to get these! I especially love the little Mickey details on Duffy and ShellieMay!

There we go! I've got lots of posts on HKDL and Hong Kong in general still to come so watch this space!

Back To Wonderland | The Alice 1951 Tag

Hi lovelies, today I am doing the Alice 1951 tag created by Danielle from Underland to Wonderland. I was tagged by Hailey from The Undateable Girl's Diary and I was so excited to be tagged as I LOVED this film growing up. I used to watch it about once a week so I'm more than happy to dive back into Wonderland! You can view Hailey's post on the tag here.

1. Who in Wonderland would you choose to be your best friend?
It would have to be Alice! I'd love to explore Wonderland with her!

2. Would you rather be humongous or teeny tiny?
Definitely teeny tiny... Much easier to hide from the Queen of Hearts that way!

3. What would your personal Wonderland look like?
It would be a Wonderland made of food (basically like the inside of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory) that you could eat as much as you wanted but would never put on any weight from, haha! The dream. Come at me pizza and chocolate.

4. If you could take one possession with you to Wonderland, what would you take?
I would take my Mad Hatter Tsum Tsum to give to the Mad Hatter himself - I think he'd be delighted with it!
5. Similarly, if you could take someone with you to explore, who would you take?
My friend as she wouldn't accept any nonsense from any of the characters!

6. Would you most enjoy: sailing in a glass bottle or falling down a rabbit hole?
Definitely falling down a rabbit hole. I always thought that bit in the film looked like so much fun - as long as I land safely at the bottom that is!

7. Minus the Red Queen, who would you least like to bump into?
Her pack of cards! I'd be afraid they'd whisk me off to have my head removed!

8. In the garden, which type of flower do you think you would be?
I'm not sure which I'd be but if I could choose I'd like to be a pansy. They're such sweet little flowers and I loved them in the film.
9. Which of these locations would you like to call home: the Dormouse's teapot, the Cheshire Cat's tree, the Red Queen's castle, the Caterpillar's mushroom
I think it would have to be the Cheshire Cat's tree! There would be a bit of shelter and hopefully I'd be nowhere near the Queen of Hearts (can you tell how scared of her I am?!).

10. What would you do if you had to stay in Wonderland for 5 years at a time or could never visit again?
I'm a terrible Disney fan but I'd probably choose the option to visit once and then never again afterwards - I'm not sure I could come out after 5 years with my sanity still intact!

Five Disney Films I've Never Watched!

Hello! Today I'm going to be admitting just what a terrible Disney fan I am by revealing five Disney films I haven't seen yet! There's actually a lot more than five (oops) but I chose these five for this post as they're generally the most popular/well-known of the films I haven't watched. Let's begin!

1. Brother Bear
This film has seemed to completely pass me by! I remember it coming out in cinemas but I never got round to seeing it and I've mostly forgotten about it since. Although now that I recently found out that Phil Collins wrote/recorded some of the songs I'm a lot more eager to see it!

2. Up
Unlike Brother Bear I've actually been actively avoiding Up! I've heard that the start of the film is SUPER sad and from some spoiler-ish things I've seen online I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the heartbreak! I'm sure I'll get round to watching it someday but until then... *all of the avoidance*

3. The Emporer's New Groove
This is definitely the film that I'm most ashamed with myself for not seeing yet! I'm constantly seeing quotes/gifs etc. online from this film so I need to sort myself out and watch this soon!

4. Wall-E
I think I've seen little snippets of this film in the past but never all the way through... I don't even really know what the story is about but I know a lot of people love this film!

5. Bolt
And finally the film that inspired this post! I posted on Instagram to say that I'd never watched this film before and everyone was singing it's praises! Now that I've got my paws on the DVD I'll have to get to this film soon as it seems like one that I'll really enjoy.

Have you seen any of these films? What Disney films have you not seen yet?

All gifs are from GIPHY

Just to clarify: I've seen all the DVDs in the header image - I only have one Disney DVD that I haven't seen yet so I had to use ones I have watched before! (Thought I'd better point that out in case I get told off for not watching Aladdin or something haha!)

My Funko Pop Collection

Hi lovelies! Today I thought I'd share my Funko Pop collection. I don't have a particularly big collection of Pops as I'm already collecting so many other things (Tsum Tsums, Disney pins etc.) but every now and then I can't resist the opportunity to pick one of these cute little figurines up!
Starting with my Star Wars Pops, I've currently got three which are all from The Force Awakens: Rey, Kylo Ren and BB-8. I think Kylo is the most I've paid for a Funko Pop as this unmasked version was an exclusive to Walmart in America. I think I ended up paying around £30 which I still have absolutely no regrets about as I *needed* to have him without his mask on! That hair though. I've definitely got my eye on a Finn Star Wars Pop next.
And my (mostly) Disney collection!

Top row: Judy Hopps (Zootropolis), Honey Lemon (Big Hero 6)
Middle: Rapunzel and Pascal (Tangled), Gus Gus in Slipper (live action Cinderella), Anna (Frozen)
Bottom: Elizabeth Bennet (Pride + Prejudice + Zombies), Mrs Potts and Chip (Beauty and the Beast), Ella (live action Cinderella)

As you can see I've not been able to resist picking up quite a few Disney Pops and I have so many more on my wishlist, oops! I think my favourites so far are Rapunzel and Pascal who were a gift from my Canadian internet twin Julie (I genuinely squealed from excitement when I opened the parcel to see them!) and Gus Gus in the slipper. As you probably know by now, the live action Cinderella is one of my all-time favourite films so I was glad to finally be able to own Ella's beautiful glass slipper in some form.
There we go! Do you collect Funko Pops? Let me know which ones I should get next!

My Ten Favourite Disney Songs

Hi lovelies! Today I thought I'd bring you a post I've been meaning to do for a long time - my top ten favourite Disney songs! This was a VERY hard post to do, not only because I wanted to include about 50 songs but I also shed a lot of tears going back over the soundtracks. Disney songs are just really emotional okay?!

3. Try Everything (Zootropolis)

4. Go The Distance (Hercules)

5. I See The Light (Tangled)

6. Two Worlds (Tarzan)
...Just LOOKING at this gif makes me cry OH MY GOSH!

7. You've Got A Friend In Me (Toy Story)

8. He Lives In You (The Lion King 2)

9. I'm Still Here (Treasure Planet)

10. Immortals (Big Hero 6)

There we go! A special mention goes to the soundtracks from Pocahontas, Frozen and Aladdin also. Ten options is definitely not enough when it comes to Disney!

What do you guys think? What songs would make your list?

All gifs came from GIFY, with the exception of #6 which came from here, #7 from here and #8 from here.
